System Announcements

• Blackboard Credentials (Tuesday, January 17, 2012)
  
  • Blackboard usernames are the same as myGate usernames.
  • Blackboard uses your @murraystate.edu email account for communications. If you haven't logged in to your RacerMail in a while, you can access it or reset your password from the Home tab in myGate.  Instructions are on the Support Site if you wish to forward your RacerMail to a personal email account.
  • If you've forgotten your password (or need to establish one), please login to myGate and click on the "Change/Activate Blackboard Password" link on the left side of the Home tab, under Web Account Services, then follow the instructions.  Note: Once you've received the email and entered a password and hit submit - do not use the link provided to login.  Instead, go to http://blackboard.murraystate.edu directly to login to Blackboard.

  Learn more about Blackboard 9 through the On Demand Learning Center.  The On Demand Learning Center includes short, interactive video lessons called Quick Tutorials designed to get you familiar with a feature in 15 minutes. Tutorials are available for both instructors and students.

  Additional Help, specific to MSU's Blackboard system, is available on our Support Site. From inside Blackboard, click on the Help at the top of the screen, next to the Logout.  From RacerNet, click on the Support Tab, then choose the Blackboard category.  Help articles are available on 40+ topics for both instructors (How to add content, etc) and students (How to post to discussion boards, etc).

  Note: Instructors must submit a Course Request Form for classes each semester for use on Blackboard.
